The New Cars Landing in Jamaica Right Now

Six fresh arrivals and announcements from the dealers' own channels, August 2026

August 2026 is one of the busiest months for new metal in Jamaica in a long while. New grades, new flagships and whole new hybrid lineups have been announced, and almost all of it broke on the dealers' Instagram pages before their websites caught up. Here is everything that landed or was announced, with the prices the dealers themselves published. Where a price has not been published, we say so plainly rather than guess.

Haval Jolion MAX, J$5.99M or J$74,000 monthly

GWM Jamaica announced the Jolion MAX on 20 August as the next level of the Jolion line, with a bold new face and more technology than the Jolion Pro it sits beside. The launch offer is J$5.99M full duty or J$74,000 monthly, and the package is stronger than the rest of the Jolion range: a 6 year or 200,000 km warranty, a 3 year or 42,500 km service package, a year of vehicle tracking and window tint included. For context, the Jolion Pro carries a 6 year, 150,000 km warranty at the same price, so the MAX is the better-covered buy if the two sit level for you. It is available now at 47 South Camp Road in Kingston.

Haval H7, arriving soon

GWM Jamaica has been teasing the H7 since early August with an Arriving Soon campaign. The H7 is the rugged, squared-off SUV that sits above the H6 in Haval's international range. No Jamaica price, trim list or arrival date has been published yet, so treat any figure you hear as rumour until GWM posts it. If you are shopping the H6 today and like the boxier look, it may be worth asking the dealer how far away the H7 actually is before you sign.

Jetour G700, the new J$12.99M flagship

Tyre Warehouse Automotive repriced the whole Jetour range in mid August, and the headline is the G700 flagship hybrid SUV at J$12.99M, down from the J$13.49M it listed at in July. The F700 seven seater also moved down to J$12.49M, and the X70 Plus to J$5.80M. Not everything got cheaper: the T1 rose to J$6.499M and the T1 PHEV to J$7.799M. Jetour publishes advertised monthlies for most of the range, from J$48,000 on the X50 to J$156,000 on the G700, which makes them one of the most transparent dealers on the island right now.

Omoda and Jaecoo go hybrid: the SHS lineup

Omoda and Jaecoo's regional arm has named a three-model Super Hybrid System lineup for the Caribbean: the Omoda C5 SHS, the Jaecoo J7 SHS and the Jaecoo J8 SHS. The J7 SHS is already on sale here as the J7 PHEV at J$8M from ATL. The C5 SHS and J8 SHS have no published Jamaica price or date yet, so contact the dealer if you want one early. Meanwhile the electric Jaecoo J6 is on pre-order with a complimentary home charger and installation included, though its price has not been published either. A Jaecoo J5 EV was also unveiled at a regional event, but nothing about it has been confirmed for Jamaica.

Isuzu MU-X 1.9L, from J$8.8M

Vehicles and Supplies put a fresh sticker on the 2026 MU-X with the 1.9 litre diesel: starting at J$8.8M. That lands the seven seat, body-on-frame Isuzu in the same conversation as the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport at a lower entry point than either. The smaller diesel is the economy play; if you tow heavy or carry a full crew uphill often, ask the dealer about the larger engine and compare the numbers for yourself.

Kia Seltos 2026, from J$5.995M or J$74,000 monthly

The all-new Seltos arrived at ATL with launch pricing of J$5.995M or from J$74,000 monthly. That prices it directly against the Haval Jolion MAX to the dollar on the monthly, which makes for one of the clearest new-car comparisons on the market right now: Korean badge and ATL's network against GWM's longer warranty. Is the Jolion MAX replacing the Jolion Pro?

GWM Jamaica has not said so. Both are advertised at J$5.99M, and the Pro remains on their website. The MAX carries the newer styling and the longer 200,000 km warranty, so ask the dealer which grades will remain on the floor before choosing.

When does the Haval H7 arrive and what will it cost?

GWM Jamaica has only said Arriving Soon, with no price or date published. We will show the price the moment they publish one.

Are these prices negotiable?

These are the dealers' advertised starting prices, GCT inclusive where stated. What you actually pay depends on trim, financing and any event offers running. The advertised monthlies are the dealers' own figures, built on deposit and term assumptions they choose.
